Food & Drinks

We are passionate about the amazing foods of the Gulf Coast and making each guest feel special; however, we may not be able to accommodate all dietary restrictions or preferences. Let us know of any allergies or special requests (e.g., vegetarian, kosher, etc) at the time of your ticket purchase or at least 24 hours in advance, and we will check with our partner restaurants to see what options they have available. Substitutions are not guaranteed, and last-minute dietary changes on tour will not be accommodated.

We pride ourselves on delivering the best-tasting, unique flavors of the Gulf Coast! From savory to sweet, classic comfort to exotic, our hope is that you will discover a new food or beverage that is hard to find anywhere else. Every tour is different! You can check the specific details of your tour before you book it. But personally, we recommend being surprised!

Depending on the tour type, your tour may include between 5 and 8 locations, each with 1 or 2 tastings. You will sample numerous bite-sized tastings with a variety of cuisine types. You should expect to feel pleasantly full by the end.

Let us know in advance if you prefer non-alcoholic cocktails, and we will do our best to request substitutions for you on the tour!

While water is served at most locations and you may sample a few beverages along the tour, it is recommended that guests bring a reusable water bottle, especially during warmer weather.

Your tour ticket includes:

  • All of the food/drink tastings (enough for a meal). Cocktail packages are available as well.
  • A guided tour of the city.
  • Restaurant taxes and gratuities.
  • Recommendations for other activities and restaurants to explore during your stay.

Tour guide gratuity is NOT included in the ticket price, but is greatly appreciated!

In busy seasons and weekends, we recommend purchasing tickets at least 1 to 2 weeks in advance. Private tours require more notice.

Please! We love our tour guides, and we think you will, too! While gratuity is not required, it is welcome and highly appreciated for their hard work. Suggested gratuity is between $10–20 per person. Tour guides keep 100% of their tips!

Guests are responsible for parking and transportation to/from your tour. We will offer recommended parking areas near the start of the tour.

Tickets may be refunded or exchanged with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice. We will not be able to provide a refund or exchange for cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour. We greatly appreciate your understanding!

If you are unhappy with your tour experience, please contact us so that we can attempt to make it right.

The walking tours require a certain level of physical stamina and the ability to travel up to 1.5 miles on foot. Guests can expect to be standing and walking for the majority of the tour (2.5 to 3 hours) and possibly spending time in direct sunlight. We recommend comfortable footwear, a reusable bottle of water, and some sun protection.

Yes! Most of our tours are family-friendly. Adult-only tours are labeled as 21 and up. Keep in mind that tours can include up to 2 or 3 hours of standing/walking and may not be suitable for all children. We recommend ages 8 and up.

All guests 6 years and older must have a ticket to join. Some tours may offer a special child rate for ages 6 to 11; otherwise, their ticket must be purchased at full price.

Children 5 years and younger may join without a ticket, but will not be offered any food tastings. Please leave a comment in your reservation for any children without tickets so that we can make the necessary seating arrangements.

Depending on the tour, some areas may have staircases, crowds, tight spaces, or uneven walkways, which may limit accessibility for wheelchairs and strollers. It is recommended that you contact us before purchasing tickets to verify if a tour is right for you.

We offer non-eating tickets for adults who would like to join without participating in the food tastings. Please contact us directly to make a reservation.

Because we will be dining indoors, pets of any kind are not allowed. Certified service animals must be approved prior to arrival.

Here is a list of recommended items to bring:

  • Casual, weather-appropriate clothing (hot, cold, rain, shine, wind, etc)

This food tour was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the tour from start to finish. The food selections were outstanding, and the portion sizes were very generous—I was completely full by the end.

Our food tour was fun and delicious. We had a great time walking around the cute town, seeing lots of small businesses, sampling quite an interesting variety of local specialties, and hearing stories about the area, its history, and people.

Georgette was just delightful. She was friendly and very informative. She explained the history of the locations and made it very interesting. The food portions were much more than just samples. We were stuffed by the end!

The portions were thoughtfully sized, and the short strolls between local restaurants tended to whet our appetites for the next sample. The tour leader was entertaining and knowledgeable. It was a memorable outing! Highly recommend!

We couldn’t have had a better time! Our tour guide, Tami, was super knowledgeable and friendly. The museums and art were something to remember. As for the food, there was nothing we didn't enjoy. The cocktail package was an added bonus! Definitely found some new local favorites to visit when we come back, and can't wait to see what other routes this tour group adds! Thank you!!

You haven’t truly experienced all Ocean Springs has to offer until you’ve done this food tour. With the tour I booked, I got SIX food stops. This included the tour guide walking us through the rich history of OS and the history of the restaurants! She also explained where some of the ingredients in our food were sourced from! 10/10 recommended this tour whether you’re an out of towner or local!

What a informative and wonderful food tour. Not only did we have samples of local flavors but it was filled with local history and fun facts. Plus we had learned a treasure trove of places to try later.

We had a great time with our tour guide, Tami, and some old and new friends. A few hours around Ocean Springs, trying great food. Portions were big and varied. Some savory and some sweet. We’ve been in Ocean Springs for a while, but still saw a few spots we’ve never been to and learned some new trivia. It would be fun for an OS native or a visitor. Thanks - we had a blast!

My daughter and I did a tour with Savor the Coast, and we absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic, and we really enjoyed learning about the history of Ocean Springs along the way. We loved getting small tastings from restaurants and dishes we probably never would’ve tried on our own, but now love!

This was our first food tour ever. We expected a tour of restaurants with samples, but we did not expect the special stops at shops and boutiques along the way! That, along with the tidbits of knowledge about the town, its history, and its people, made the afternoon so much fun! We could not have asked for a better experience! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting OS!
